Selim is a children’s book written by CAFFE co-founder Luke Doyle and illustrated by former CAFFE student, Somir Uddin. It is based on the true life experiences of one of CAFFE’s first students, describing his daily routine, the challenges he faces as well as his hopes for the future.

The book has been used in numerous schools and is designed to allow children to not only see the differences between their own life and a child in Bangladesh, but also the similarities.

‘Selim’ makes a great birthday or Christmas gift for any any child and can be an excellent way to start a conversation between a child and their parent about the wider world around them.
